The history of the Cava
The restaurant was founded in 2005, thanks to the will and the commitment of the Riva family, owner of one of the oldest building in the area, known as stone quarry – near Camerlata locality – part of Como City.
Silvano Riva helped by his sons, changes his business, turning the building into a modern restaurant where, the family management is the most important imprint.
The imprint of the restaurant is still based on family management, carried on by Emanuele Riva, animated by the same passion for wine and for the care of the service. As a professional sommelier he reviews and leads today a new concept of catering in which the customer is directly involved in the choice of wines thanks to the presence of a Wine shop.
A Spirits bar rich in rare spirits it completes the satisfaction of the guests.
The search for Italian flavors, with attention to local ingredients from the city of Como, revisited and made unique by the Chef's creations Ernest Dedgjonaj, coexist at the Cava with the variegated world of signature pizza Master Mimmo!
